DCBOA Members Choice Award
We are happy to announce the creation of the DCBOA Member's Choice Award. Rescues dealing
with Drafts and Draft Crosses will be eligible for this Annual Award. For complete details click

USDF All Breeds Award
Awards will be given for first and second place in Open divisions (Training through
Grand Prix). Horses must be registered as Draft Crosses with the DCBOA by
August 1st of the award year. Owners must be current members of the DCBOA.
This award requires a DCBOA Nomination Form to be submitted by August 1st of
the award year. The USDF has additional requirements, including membership,
forms and fees that must be submitted. Please visit their site for compete

In cooperation with the United States Pony Club, the DCBOA is proud to offer its
Rising Star Award to the top scoring DCBOA rider (riding a DCBOA registered
horse) in Dressage, Eventing, Show Jumping, Polocrosse or Tetrathlon at each
of the 2012 Championships. Riders must be 2012 members of the DCBOA.
Deadline for Application: to be announced
Membership application and horse registration must be received by May 1, 2011.

offering an award to the overall high point winner, who meets the requirements
listed on the application. To be eligible, applicants must be 2012 members of
the DCBOA and The International Side Saddle Organization.

DCBOA Participation Award
The DCBOA is happy to announce our Participation Award. We have been
told that a majority of our members ride for pleasure. This program will offer
a medal for members who complete 200 hours Riding or Driving their
DCBOA Draft Crosses.
To be eligible, applicants must be a member of the DCBOA during the entire
period of time in which the 200 hours are accumulated. The horse ridden or
driven must be registered or recorded with the DCBOA. (limit 1 medal per
member per year)
